Notes:
1) PLGA fluorescent nanospheres and microspheres are freeze-dried particles. Alternatively, each package can come as a 1 ml, 1% suspension in water. Just let us know if you desire aqueous dispersion other than dry particles.
2) In making the PLGA microspheres, we used a poly(D,L-lactide-co-glycolide) with an L/G ratio of 50/50 and a MW of 30,000. However, you can specify the type of PLGA you would like us to use to prepare your microspheres. Please contact our technical service for details.
3) These microspheres can also be made with different fluorescence, e.g. violet, orange or red. Please contact us for details.
4) If the particle size you are looking for is not listed here, please contact our technical service. Most of the time we can make the spheres of your deisried diameters.
5) Custom encapsulation is available. We can encapsulate your molecule, e.g. a drug (small or large molecule), or a dye (fluorescent or non-fluorescent) into PLGA micropsheres and nanospheres. Please contact us for details.
6) Custom conjugation service is also available. We can coat biomolecules (e.g., protein, peptide, oligonucleotide or antibody) onto the surface of PLGA microspheres and nanospheres.
7) By default, the surface of PLGA microspheres is slightly negatively charged. Neutral, highly negatively charged, or positively charged surface is also available on a custom basis.
8) Carboxyl or amino functional groups can be added to the surface of PLGA microspheres if desired.
